Commercial photographer in Hampshire. Working with Tartufi Wedding Cake creator.

Today was a commercial job. I was doing some wedding cake photography for a local wedding cake supplier – Gemma at Tartufi Cakes, who I coincidentally also recently met at The HMS Warrior Wedding Fair, earlier in the year.

The website for Tartufi Cakes is here: http://www.tartuficakes.co.uk/

Gemma arranged for me to supply her with some images of around 6 of her gorgeous cakes – three of which are likely to be used in a forthcoming wedding cake editorial in a popular wedding magazine: http://www.justweddingsmag.co.uk/

These images will be available for Gemma very soon and for use in her editorial articles, PR, website, publications, and other materials.

Should you have the need for any images for PR or publicity material – why not get in touch. Good quality commercial photography can make a real difference to your business or brand. For a modest outlay – I can provide YOU with images of your staff, products or premises, that you can use for advertising, PR, web design, email, newsletters and editorial, or even annual reports or interior styling. Wedding photography in Hampshire | Portsmouth Register Offices and The Queens Hotel in Southsea.

Today I was at Portsmouth Registrar Offices. I was doing the wedding photography for Lorna and John.

After a 14.30pm ceremony and a couple of shots on the stair case - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Register Offices before the couple headed off to Old Portsmouth in their wedding car for some photos near the Town Walls.

The Portsmouth Register Offices is one of my favorite Register Offices to cover, as the space and gardens are fantastic and the staff are always helpful to me too. You can see their website here: www.portsmouth.gov.uk/living/580.html

We then headed over to The Queens Hotel in Southsea for a few more photos, a drinks reception and the wedding breakfast and an evening of celebrations.

The website of The Queens Hotel is: http://www.queenshotelsouthsea.co.uk/

The images will be available for viewing for Lorna and John and their families very soon.

Wedding photographer in Hampshire | The Brookfield Hotel in Emsworth.

Today, I attended The Brookfield Hotel in Emsworth to photograph the wedding of Shakira and Alan. You can view the website of The Brookfield here: http://www.brookfieldhotel.co.uk/

There were around 70, mainly family, guests - making for a great and relaxed atmosphere at this local hotel and popular wedding venue.

After a 2.00pm ceremony, we posed for some photos at various locations around the hotel gardens and we had hot and bright conditions.

At around 4.15pm the wedding breakfast commenced and at that point I left. So, I had a relatively short day for me, but with ample scope to capture a good range of images of the main part of the wedding.

The images will be available for viewing for Shakira and Alan and their families very soon.

I thoroughly enjoy working at the Brookfield Hotel and especially with their Wedding and Events Manager called Jamie Drew (01243 373 363) who coordinates all their weddings and other events.

Wedding photography in Hampshire. HMS Warrior in Portsmouth and The Solent Hotel, Fareham.

Today was a local at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Natalie and Chris.

Natalie and her Father arrived at HMS Warrior in a classic vintage Riley – one of my favourite wedding cars to photograph.
The ceremony was great to photograph and was in the ‘Captains Cabin’. The mood and atmosphere at this venue is fantastic. It was a very relaxed day and the couple had planned a fair amount of time for photos and their journeys and so no one felt under any time pressure and all seemed to have a great day.

We were lucky to get fantastic weather conditions - for some great opportunities for photos around the ship. Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we opted for some photos on deck and at various locations, before the couple and their guests headed off to the Solent Hotel near Whitely, Fareham, for their meal and an evening of celebrations: http://www.solenthotel.com/

The website of HMS Warrior is here: http://www.hmswarrior.org/ and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly Julie and Andrew who coordinate their events and weddings.

The images will be available for viewing for Natalie and Chris and their families very soon.

Commercial photographer in Hampshire. Photo shoot for DJ Joe Smith at The Guildhall in Winchester

Today was a commercial job. I was doing some disco and first dance photography for a local DJ – DJ Joe Smith who I recently met at The Brookfield Hotel Wedding Fair. The location Joe chose for the photo session was a ‘real wedding’ at The Winchester Guildhall. We plan to cover another photo shoot shortly to give him some variety of shots, primarily for use on his website.
Good quality commercial photography can make a real difference to the image of your business or brand, but can still represent great value. For a modest outlay - I can provide YOUR business with a portfolio of bespoke images of your staff, products and premises, that you can use for advertising, PR, web design, email, or even annual reports or interior styling. Why not give me a call to discuss any requirements YOU might have?

Coincidentally, I had only just been to The Winchester Guildhall two days before, to photograph the wedding of Melissa and Nathan. It was good to be back and to see Ami again – the Wedding Coordinator who had assisted me on the 17th too.

The website for DJ Joe Smith is here: http://www.djjoe.co.uk/

Wedding Photography in Hampshire. The Guildhall in Winchester and The Wessex Hotel, Winchester

Today I was at The Guildhall in Winchester. I was doing the wedding photography for Melissa and Nathan.

I started my day in the morning with photos with Melissa and her bridesmaids at The Winchester Hotel – the place of preparation of the bride. It is just a short trip away from the Guildhall.
You can view the website of the Winchester Hotel here: http://pedersenhotels.com/winchester
Having driven a short distance across Winchester, I parked my car at The Wessex Hotel. I walked back to The Guildhall from the hotel for photos of Nathan and the boys and other arrivals as they occurred.

The ceremony was good to photograph as the main hall in the Guildhall has ample space for all the guests and benefits from a fair amount of natural light.

Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we opted for some photos on the main staircase. We then drove in the wedding car to a prearranged location to the side of Winchester cathedral, whilst the guests headed back to The Wessex Hotel. We rejoined them after a few photos and all met in the gardens adjacent to the cathedral for some family and group photos.

You can view the website of the Wessex Hotel Winchester here: http://www.mercure.com/ or http://www.accorhotels.com/
You can contact the wedding coordinator at the hotel on 01962 861 611. On the day, I was assisted by Helen who coordinated the wedding and also Lewis who was the Master Of Ceremonies and who helped the photos run smoothly and quickly!! They were both great to work with as were their other colleagues at the hotel.

The Hotel provided a fantastic meal for the guests and I can testify this as they also fed me too - THANK YOU!!

I stayed right up to the first dance and the DJ was Gary at http://www.gmcproductions.co.uk/

The images will be available for viewing for Melissa and Nathan and their families very soon.

After a 12.00pm ceremony and a couple of shots on the stair case - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Register Offices before the couple headed off to Old Portsmouth in their wedding car for some photos with me near the Old Town Walls. The wedding car was a fantastic modern Jaguar and one of a number of great cars offered by Craneswater Wedding Cars in Southsea. They can be contacted via: http://www.craneswaterweddingcars.co.uk/

The Portsmouth Register Offices is one of my favorite Register Offices to cover, as the space and gardens are fantastic and the staff are always helpful to me too. You can see their website here: www.portsmouth.gov.uk/living/580.html

We then headed over to The Royal Maritime Club for the wedding breakfast and an evening of celebrations.
