Wedding photographer at Ramster Hall near Haslemere in Surrey

Today I was at Ramster Hall near Chiddingfold and Haslemere in Surrey. I was doing the wedding photography for Jo and Clayton and they were great to work with. After the ceremony and a few family shots in a courtyard garden - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Great Drawing Room and we were mainly indoors owing to the poor weather and conditions underfoot in the gardens.

I enjoyed this first visit to Ramster Hall which was a lovely venue to photograph - both internally and externally. You can see their website here: www.ramsterweddings.co.uk
I can vouch for the fact that there is great food and service from a clearly dedicated and helpful team of staff at this venue. A first visit to this superb wedding venue for me and a great experience all round.
All the images were quickly available for viewing for Jo and Clayton, but just a few favourites are shown here.

Graduation or make-over photographer in Hampshire

Over the last year or so - I have been doing more studio work and last year this included a series of large graduation ceremonies. It is completely different to my usual work where the photographer (rather than being out in the changing elements and responding to the daylight available) can control and direct the light source and 'shape' the quality, intensity and direction of the light.
I was asked to produce some creative images of a graduate (a suitable model) in a gown & with some creative lighting. I took the opportunity to work with a couple of friends and colleagues: Amanda (a photographer) and also Belinda (a make up or makeover expert) and produced a few images with a deliberately 'different' look to the standard and traditional graduation photo look. You might not like my approach (as it doesn't look traditional) but hopefully you can see that I was trying to offer something slightly different.
I plan to do more 'makeover' sittings for local adults - If you would like to have a makeover sitting - maybe for a special occasion or celebration, prom, or photo shoot - I can arrange that for an affordable 'package' price. You might also like a graduation photo or photography (you'd need to supply the gown, hat and hood!) or maybe even get me along to your school, play group or nursery 'graduation' ceremony for some creative images & I can bring some props and a suitable backdrop for your photos.

I edit my images shortly after each session and there are a small selection posted here too, to give you an insight into my style and approach.

Hampshire newborn photographer in Emsworth.

Today I dedicated some studio time to shooting some portraits for a local family with a recent newborn baby. Done in a variety of different styles, I captured some individual and sibling portraits of local newborn, babies and toddlers and older siblings, or even family groups.

The children were local to me and came along via my 'watch me grow' - one year with three studio sittings type arrangements. I am also running a 'Bump to Baby' and newborn scheme via my website and various mailers I do for local families. It is a good idea to capture some images of your baby at intervals throughout the first year and starting from say around four weeks. If this appeals to you – why not get in touch and see what we can arrange.
The images will be available for viewing for parents and their families shortly after each session and there are a small selection posted here too, to give you an insight into my style and approach.
