Case history photographer for the legal profession

Today was  another interesting job as I was booked at the last minute to pop over to Botley Mill in Hampshire to photograph a local resident for a PR contact who writes case studies for firms of solicitors.

Express Solicitors is a personal injury law firm, based in Manchester www.expresssolicitors.co.uk

Case studies for the site are written to show that all their case studies are genuine, pictures of the clients are required to show that they are real people.

It was an interesting and fairly quick task and I met a couple of interesting people over in Botley Mill, Botley, Nr Southampton.

Should you work for a PR or legal firm and require a reliable, quick, professional, insured, qualified and responsive photography service - please do get in touch with ME!

PR Photographer at Lloyds Pharmacy in Emsworth, Hampshire

Today was an interesting job for me and on my doorstep - I was the PR photographer who was asked to capture some images at the opening ceremony at Lloyds Pharmacy in Emsworth.

The press release will give you some more info about this event and my role:

NEW APPROACH TO COMMUNITY PHARMACY LAUNCHES IN EMSWORTH

Led by pharmacist, Angela Burton, the team at LloydsPharmacy, Emsworth, officially opened a new concept in pharmacy on 24 October.

The Emsworth team is one of the first in the UK to offer LloydsPharmacy’s new approach to community health which has been developed to improve access to healthcare information and support.

The ribbon was cut by Mrs Onslow, a long-standing customer at the pharmacy, who recently celebrated her 102nd birthday.

As part of the transformation, the pharmacy now offers free, enhanced services for a range of conditions including skin health and pain management.

The pharmacy’s new skin offering covers all aspects of skin health from medicines management advice for people on prescription treatment to medicated skin products.

Angela said: “We are delighted to be one of the pioneers in a project that will do much to raise awareness of healthcare needs at a local level.

“With skin conditions, a change in treatment and application techniques can make all the difference, which is why we have developed our skin advice service. With effective management, symptoms can be reduced and those with the condition can start to take back control of their life.”

Pain management is another area where the Emsworth pharmacy team now offers enhanced support. The LloydsPharmacy pain control service has been found to improve 46 percent of people’s pain after just four weeks of taking the pharmacist’s advice.

“We know many who suffer from long-term health conditions don’t always want to go to their doctor every time they have a question,” Angela continued.

“What we are doing is providing services that complement GPs and other healthcare professionals by offering convenient, one-to-one support in pleasant, modern surroundings.”

The team members at LloydsPharmacy Emsworth are dedicated and experienced in supporting local residents’ healthcare needs. Many have worked with LloydsPharmacy for a number of years. Angela Burton has been at LloydsPharmacy in Emsworth for six years’ experience, Alicia Cranston, four and Ruth Fisher, Alison Honeyset and Maureen Tucker have all been with the pharmacy for two years.

To find out more about the advice and support available at LloydsPharmacy please visit 2 Central Buildings, West Street, Emsworth, PO10 7DU and speak to a member of the pharmacy team or visit www.skinwithoutcompromise.com

Wedding Photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth

Today was a Hampshire wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Kate and James.

James and a number of the men arrived in period dress as you can see from my photos, making for an entertaining day of photography for me! Kate and James were great FUN to work with, as you can probably tell just from this small selection of images from their day.

The ceremony was great to photograph and was on the Half Deck. The mood and atmosphere at this venue is fantastic and with around 65 people present. We were lucky to get good weather conditions (it was bright and sunny!) - for some great opportunities for photos around the ship.

Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we opted for some photos on deck and at various locations, before the couple and their guests were called to dinner and headed below for a great meal, provided by the staff of County Caterers. You can view their website here, or via the link to them from my own website links page: www.countycaterers.co.uk

The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly Erin, Julie and Siobhan who coordinate their events and weddings.

Wedding Photographer at HMS Warrior and The Royal Maritime Club in Portsmouth

Today was a local wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Melanie and Colin from Portsmouth.

The ceremony was great to photograph and was on the Half Deck. The atmosphere at this venue is fantastic and all those present seemed to have a great day. We were very lucky to get great weather conditions (it was very bright and sunny!) - for some great opportunities for photos around the ship.

The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly Erin, Julie and Siobhan who coordinate their events and weddings.

Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we opted for some photos on deck and at various locations, before the couple and their guests headed off to the Royal Maritime Club in Queens Street, just nearby. You can view their website here, or via the link to them from my own website links page: www.royalmaritimeclub.co.uk

I was helped by Peter Driscoll the Banqueting and Events Manager at the Royal Maritime Club and he was very helpful - as were his colleagues on the day.

Baby and newborn photographer in Hampshire and West Sussex

As you may be aware - I have dedicated some studio time to shooting some portraits for babies, newborns and local families recently. Today I captured some images of a three month old baby. The Mother and Father of the baby were previous wedding clients and much of my work comes from word of mouth and / or is repeat business in many ways.
I am also running a newborn, babies and toddler and also a 'Bump to Baby' scheme via my website and various mailers I do for local families & previous clients in the run up to Christmas. It is a great idea to capture some images of your baby at intervals throughout the first year and from say around four weeks. If this appeals to you – why not get in touch and see what we can arrange. I am currently offering some local parents FREE sittings for such work & can spend a fair while with each sitter - so its not simply a case of rushing through a list of sitters at precise time slots. I like to devote a fair amount of time and energy to each sitting and take as long as it takes to capture some high quality images.

The images will be available for viewing for parents and their families shortly after each session and there are a small selection posted here too, to give you an insight into my style and approach.
