Wedding Photographer at the Langstone Hotel, on Hayling Island

Today I was doing the photography for Victoria and Luke who married at The Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island, near Portsmouth, Hampshire. I have uploaded a fair few images here from their day and will be showcasing just a few images from each wedding for the rest of this very busy summer 'season'.
The website for the hotel is here: www.langstonehotel.co.uk I love working at this venue, with its close proximity to my base, great views over the Langstone harbour for photos and very helpful and supportive staff (thank you Franco, Emily and the team). I am already booked to cover a whole lot more weddings here later in the year and next year too.
I am currently offering some very good rates and discounts for any remaining 2013 dates and into the Spring of 2014 too, subject to my availability. Please do get in touch to check with ME - I look forward to possibly working for YOU too.

Wedding Photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth

Today was a local wedding at one of my favourite locations and one I frequently visit for weddings and other special events - I was at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Michelle and Andrew.

As usual, I am displaying just a few favourite images from this special day. It was a 5.15pm ceremony and so I was on site from around 4pm until the first dance at around 9pm.

The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly Erin, Julie or Siobhan who coordinated this and many of the events and weddings I attend at HMS Warrior in the past – Thank you Erin and Siobhan.

The images were available for viewing for Michelle and Andrew shortly after their special day – Congratulations to you both. I am looking forward to my next trip back to HMS Warrior already!

Wedding photographer at the Square Tower and Southsea Castle in Portsmouth

Today I was at The Square Tower in Old Portsmouth and then on to Southsea Castle. I was doing the wedding photography for Beatrice and Kevin who were a great couple to work.

I was present from arrivals at The Square Tower for the ceremony and right up to the first dance. After the ceremony we captured a few group photos near the town walls, then the couple and myself headed off to the Hot Walls, just along from the Square Tower www.squaretower.co.uk  The Square Tower is a great location and Steve - the Manager and contact - is available via their website, or enquiries@squaretower.co.uk or 07519 505 785. Steve was really supportive and helpful to me. I also now have a link to the venue on my links page at www.martinlewis.biz and you can see a gallery of my work on his website too.

We then headed off to Southsea Castle and some more photos and a fantastic reception - hosted by the team from Yellow Kite. You can contact them via:  http://www.yellowkite.org.uk/southsea-castle/
I met the team from Yellow Kite previously and I was very impressed with their service and standards (and food!). They are doing a great job at Southsea Castle and you can check them out yourself and full details are on their website.

I simply use this blog to showcase a small sample of ALL of my on-going and full time photographic work. So you’ll see a lot more photos and work than words and thoughts on my blog. Hopefully, you’ll like what you see.

Attached to my blog are a few of my favourite photos from this day. I captured a good selection of images over the course of this day and presented around 350 images to the couple. The images were available for viewing very soon after the day.

Wedding Photographer at Marwell Hall and Wildlife Park in Hampshire

Today I was at a wedding at one of my favorite locations in Hampshire – Marwell Hall (Wildlife Park and Hall) in Colden Common near Winchester, for the first time this year. I was doing the wedding photography for Emma and Philip.

The ceremony was fantastic to photograph at the Hall and we were lucky to get great weather throughout the day for photos around the Zoo. Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we completed some obligatory family and friend group photos, before the couple, myself and a member of staff headed off in a ‘golf’ buggy to the girraffe enclosures for some photos.

I was helped throughout the day by the resident Toastmaster at Marwell Hall called ‘Pav’ who did a fantastic job in coordinating parts of the function in his typically commanding, experienced style. You can view Pavs own website here and from a personal perspective - I would totally recommend him for any similar function or event you may be holding: http://www.toastmaster1.co.uk/

A great meal was provided by the staff at Marwell Hall (I tested it – thanks!!) before cake cutting, speeches and first dance.

The website of the Wildlife Park is here: http://www.marwell.org.uk/ I was assisted throughout the day by the fab events / functions team who can be contacted via email: events@marwell.org.uk tel: 01962 777 966 or 936. These details are to be found on the Weddings and Events section under the ‘Functions’ header / tab of their website.

The images were available for viewing for Emma and Phil and their families very soon. There are a few images shown here – a couple of my favourites - to give you an insight into my photography.
