Wedding photographer at the Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa near Haslemere in Surrey.

Today was a wedding at the Lythe Hill Hotel near Haslemere in Surrey with Susie and Andy and the hotel and spa was an idyllic setting for wedding photography. The main house dates back to a 14th Century beamed Tudor House and it provided a great backdrop for photos. After the ceremony and some family photos, photos with the couple and a good slot of time in dry weather and good light, everyone retreated back indoors for an evening of entertainment and for a fantastic meal. It was a great day to photograph and I was working with the couple from around midday until first dance at around 8pm.

I also met my good friend and DJ - DJ Joe Smith who was working in the evening at the party. I have uploaded just a few images here from the day and will be simply showcasing just a few images from each wedding as I usually do and rather than trying to tell the 'whole story'. I enjoyed working at Lythe Hill, with fabulous gardens, a lake and fountain and grounds for photos and very helpful and supportive staff. Nicole at the Lythe Hill Hotel was particularly helpful to me on the day.

I am currently offering some very good rates for any remaing 2018 dates and into the early New Year, subject to my availability. Whether it be a wedding, party or other special occasion, I can offer you something different and creative, yet reliable and professional! So, I look forward to possibly helping YOU too.

Gosport Half Marathon official photographer

Today I attended the Gosport Half Marathon, hosted by the members of Gosport Road Runners Running Club: www.gosportroadrunners.org.uk They are a friendly and supportive crowd and the marshals and support crew do a fantastic job at this event which I have covered now for many years.

I was the official photographer for the event on 19th November 2017. The event website is here: www.gosportroadrunners.org.uk and it was a good turnout / entry level.

We had overcast conditions, then sunshine. I managed to capture a good selection of images on the course. I photographed at the promenade in Lee on The Solent and was able to capture images of the vast majority of runners as they ran towards home at around 11 miles.

The images will be available for viewing and sale to the runners very soon, typically within 24 hours of each event – often the same day. Photos are priced at very reasonable rates and there are discounts on my usual digital image (JPG) sales this year.

Wedding photographer at the Portsmouth Register Offices in Burnaby Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire

Today I was at Mildam House, Portsmouth Register Offices, Burnaby Road in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Julie and Paul and it was a great day, with a small family group attending (around 45 people).

After a 12.00pm ceremony and a few family shots on the stair case - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Register Offices before the couple headed off to the Mountbatten Centre for some more photos and an evening and afternoon reception. Despite the gales and showers, we all had a fantastic day.

The Portsmouth Register Offices is one of my favourite Register Offices to cover, as the space and gardens are fantastic and the staff are always helpful to me too.

All the images were available for viewing for Julie and Paul and their families very quickly.

If YOU are getting married this Winter - Please do get in touch and see what late availability, or special offers I might have available for YOU! 'Off season' I can offer some exceptionally affordable options - mid week and on the weekends. Please do get in touch to see what is available.

Wedding photographer at Brighton Town Hall.

Today I was at The Town Hall in Brighton, then later at the venue @ Woodhouse Farm at Henfield near Brighton and Hove. I was doing the wedding photography for Helen and Ryan and they were great fun to work with. After the Town Hall ceremony and some photos bty the beach and over near Ditchling and the South Downs  - we travelled over to the venue @ Woodhouse Farm for a fantastic meal and an afternoon and evening of entertainment.

There was a marquee, DJs and a band and fantastic grounds and a lake at the venue which made for great photo opportunities and a lovely environment for an unconventional and relaxed wedding reception.

I am just putting a few concise details and of course some of my favourite shots from the day here by way of some taster shots.

All the images were quickly available for viewing for Helen and Ryan and their families, but just a few favourites are shown here.  Typically I select a handful of my favourite images and often they are the small selection I have toned or reverted to black and white. Typically, there were over 400 presented to the couple from this 'all day' wedding and so it represents just a small flavour of the day.
