Wedding photographer at St Marys in Portchester Castle grounds in Hampshire

Today I was covering a wedding at St Marys in the grounds of Portchester Castle in Hampshire – I was doing the wedding photography for Heather and Keith. Portchester is a great local location for wedding photos and St Marys is very popular for this reason too.

We were lucky to get fantastic weather conditions, rounding off a great April for weather - for some great opportunities for photos around Portchester Castle in an April heat wave no less.

Wedding photographer at the Mortons House Hotel in Corfe in Dorset

Today I was covering a wedding at a new venue for me – I was doing the wedding photography for Kelly and James at the Mortons House Hotel in Corfe in Dorset. This was the first time I had visited Corfe for a wedding and we were able to get photos in the grounds of the hotel, plus at the adjacent church with views of the Castle and also on the platform af Corfe Station.

We were lucky to get fantastic weather conditions, rounding off a great April for weather - for some great opportunities for photos around Corfe.

Wedding photographer at Larmer Tree Gardens in Wiltshire

Today I was covering a wedding at a truly unique and new venue for me – I was doing the wedding photography for Melinda and Martin at Larmer Tree Gardens, Rushmore Estate, Tollard Royal, Salisbury, Wiltshire. It was a 2pm ceremony, although I arrived early to have a good scout around and familiarize myself with this fantastic location for any wedding. Larmer Tree Gardens was created in 1880 by General Pitt Rivers as pleasure grounds ‘for public enlightenment and entertainment’. The gardens are today an extraordinary collection of ornate buildings, colour, landscaped areas, trees and garden structures. I have photographed one other wedding at Larmer Tree and it is quite simply a photographer’s paradise.

Wedding photographr at the Portsmouth Marriott Hotel.

Today I was doing the photography for a couple who married mid week on Monday 12th March at The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel in Southampton Road Portsmouth.
I will usually simply showcase just a few taster images from each wedding for the rest of this busy year, rather than trying to tell the 'whole story'. So I have uploaded just a few images here from their day.

Wedding photographer at the Christ the King and St Colman R.C. church in Southampton and the Tithe Barn near to Petersfield and South Harting.

Martha and Marks wedding ceremony was at 11.30 at Christ the King and St Colmans RC church in Southampton and the reception was at The Tithe Barn near Petersfield.

This visit to The Tithe Barn was a fantastic opportunity for me. A Grade II listed building - the Tithe Barn is a wedding photographers and guests dream as it is located in private land on a rural estate near South Harting in the South Downs and also near Petersfield. It is a complex of flint stoned walled buildings located in the beautiful rural Hampshire countryside. The website of the Tithe Barn is here www.tithe-barn.co.uk

I was on site for the duration of the day and left only after the first dance. The images were available for viewing for Martha and Mark and their families very soon.
