Today I was at Winchester Registrar Offices. I was doing the wedding photography for Elaine and Michael and it was a very warm and bright day and everyone arrived very early!!
After a 3.00pm ceremony, we posed for some photos at locations around the small courtyard garden at the Register Office gardens before heading off to a late afternoon reception in a local venue.
The Winchester Register Office, in Station Road, is attractive to photograph as the main room is bright and airy as it benefits from a huge window located just behind where the Registrar stands.
It also has brightly coloured stained glass in an attractive design and is a distinctive feature of this otherwise lightly coloured and quite modern room. You can see their website here: http://www3.hants.gov.uk/registration/registration-contact/registration-winchester.htm
Winchester are one of a number of around 13 Register Offices throughout Hampshire – some smaller than others, but all utilizing the Hampshire Ceremonies Guide (brochure) in which I advertise my wedding photography (it excludes Portsmouth – where I also advertise!!). My advert appears on Page 35 of the brochure and I am very pleased that my images are used extensively throughout the publication editorial and credit is shown for these on Page 51.
You can view this in its current location on this web page if you are interested:

After some photos the couple were surprised to See Nigel from Classic Doves appear around the corner. They realsed two beautiful white doves afte a reading from their Best Man and I captured a couple of photos as the doves departed. You can call Classic Doves on 02392 793 436 to find out more about what they offer: http://www.classicdoves.co.uk/
The images will be available for viewing for Elaine and Michael and their families very soon.
