Wedding Photographer at Portsmouth Register Offices

Today I was at Portsmouth Registrar Offices. I was doing the wedding photography for Rachel and Mark, who were super to work with. I started at the house in Old Portsmouth with a few getting ready photos and shots of the bridesmaids and details of the preparations.
After a 3.00pm ceremony and a couple of shots on the stair case - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Register Offices before the couple headed off to Gunwharf in their Bentley wedding car.
The Portsmouth Register Offices is always one of my favorite Register Offices to cover, as the space and gardens are fantastic and the staff are always helpful to me too. You can see their website here: www.portsmouth.gov.uk/living/580.html Thank you to Emma and her colleagues on the day.

Wedding Photographer at Portsmouth Register Offices

After a 3.00pm ceremony and a couple of shots on the stair case - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Register Offices before the couple headed off into Portsmouth for their wedding reception.

Wedding Photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth

Today was a local wedding at one of my favorite locations & certainly most frequently visited for weddings during 2010 and 11 – HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Jemma and Darren.
As usual, I will display just a few favourite images from this special day. It was a 5pm ceremony and so it was dark before the bridal party arrived on site. I had planned to use my Elinchrom Quadra portable studio lights for the indoor group photos in Captains Cabin, but do also get some outdoor illuminations from the lights in the rigging of HMS Warrior, not to mention the wonderful Christmas lights!!

Wedding Photographer at Portsmouth Register Offices.

Today I was at Portsmouth Register Offices and then a trip into Old Portsmouth for further photography. I was doing the wedding photography for Chloe and Paul.
I was present early and in good time for a 9.30am ceremony. After the ceremony we captured a few group photos in the register office grounds, then we all headed off to Old Portsmouth for some further photos with the couple.
The wintry weather cleared today and whilst it was chilly, it was bright and sunny and fantastic for some mid morning photography in Portsmouth.

I was only with the couple and their five guests for a short while, but captured some attractive images of them and I particularly enjoy working in Old Portsmouth. Wedding Photographer at All Saints Church in East Stratton, Hampshire

Today I was at the Church of All Saints in East Stratton and then The Grange Hotel in Alton. I was doing the wedding photography for Beccy and Stuart who were fun to work with.
I was present from around one pm at the church and right up to the first dance. After the ceremony we captured a few group photos in the church grounds, then we all headed off to The Grange Hotel.

Official Sports Event Photographer - Gosport Half Marathon Official Photos

Today I attended the Gosport Half Marathon, hosted by the members of Gosport Road Runners Running Club: www.gosportroadrunners.org.uk They are a friendly and supportive crowd and the marshals and support crew do a fantastic job at this event which I have covered now for numerous years.
I was the official photographer for the event on 20th November 2011. The event website is here: www.gosportroadrunners.org.uk and it was a good turnout / entry level.
We had very sunny, warm and bright conditions and managed to capture a good selection of images on the course. I photographed the promenade in Lee on The Solent and was able to capture images of the vast majority of runners as they ran towards home at around 11 miles.
The images will be available for viewing and sale to the runners very soon, typically within 24 hours of each event – often the same day.

Official equestrian event photography for Wey Valley Riding Club in 2011

Today I am in the process of re uploading all the Wey Valley Riding Club event photography that I carried out on their behalf during 2011 to my website again.

Solely for the remainder of November 2011, all the WVRC event photots will be available in the 'View Your Photos' section of my website.

Riders and their friends and family can have access to view these photos just for the remainder of November 2011. Now is your opportunity to view these images and / or consider purchasing any as Christmas gifts, or reminders of a special day or ride.

Wedding Photographer at The Square Tower in Old Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Today I was at The Square Tower in Old Portsmouth and then The Still and West Pub upstairs Function area. I was doing the wedding photography for Laura and Chris who were a great couple to work with and who live in Old Portsmouth.
I was present from arrivals at The Square Tower for the 2pm ceremony and right up to the first dance. After the ceremony we captured a few group photos near the town walls, then the couple and myself headed off to the Hot Walls and even ventured onto the beach (well why not – no one else was there!!), just between the Square Tower www.squaretower.co.uk and the Still and West. The Square Tower is under new management since I last covered a wedding in this great location and Steve - the contact - is available via their website, or enquiries@squaretower.co.uk or 07519 505 785. Unlike many photographers and bloggers in general, I don’t use my blog to make political rants, or moans, or try and illustrate technical aspects about photography. I simply use it to show case a small sample of ALL of my on-going and full time photographic work. So you’ll see a lot more photos and work than words and thoughts on my blog. Hopefully, you’ll like what you see.
