Equestrian event photographer at Tedworth Hunter Trials at Larkhill near Amesbury and Salisbury in Wiltshire

Today I visited a remote and windswept stretch of military land (Army MOD), at Knighton Down, Larkhill. I was the official photographer for the Tedworth Hunter Trials event on 25th September 2011.
We had variable and slightly cool and windy weather, a little rain and great light conditions for good equestrian photography.
There was a range of four classes which covered the same 2 mile circuit all day – all of which kept me fully occupied and pretty tired by the end of the event in late afternoon.
You can view my sports events photos on line at my website: www.martinlewis.biz and images usually stay on line for up to two months for the competitors to browse and / or purchase prints from me. You can also see samples of my event photography via my website or on my Facebook page or blog.
If you are organising an event and require a high caliber event photography service – please feel free to get in touch to check out my availability and to see what I may be able to offer YOU. The organisers of this cross country event were Tedworth HSC and are a friendly, supportive and dedicated bunch. They certainly know how to put on a great event. You can find their website and contact details here: www.tedworthhunt.co.uk
The images were available for viewing and sale to the riders and their families on the same day. It is always my priority to get event photos on line as soon as I can and offer riders realistically priced photos, with discounts and to offer them some appealing shots.

Wedding photographer at Winchester Register Offices and Jermyn's House

Today I was at Winchester Register Offices and Jermyn’s House and gardens. I was doing the wedding photography for Penny and Martin.
I have covered numerous weddings at Winchester Register Offices and the staff were all very helpful to me. After the ceremony we captured a few group photos in the grounds of the offices, then we all headed off to Jermyn’s House. You can view the website of this lovely property and fantastic gardens via www3.hants.gov.uk/hilliergardens/hilliergardens-gardentour/hilliergardens-jermynshouse.htm
Attached to my blog are a few of my favourite photos from the day. Jermyn’s House is a fantastic location for a wedding reception, with a grand front facade, staircase and numerous attractive and paneled rooms, a massive and well maintained garden – containing art works and statues as well as a massive range of shrubs, trees and flowers. It makes it a great venue for relaxed wedding photography.
The images will be available for viewing for Penny and Martin and their families soon.

Actors Headshot Photography in Hampshire and West Sussex

Today was a commercial job. I was doing some headshot photography for a local man – I was working with James who required some actors headshots for his CV and directory listings.
I was asked to capture some images of him that he could use for directories and promotional purposes. Photos of this nature are usually supplied as print ready JPGS so that the client can display them to prospective employers – either via print or web based previews. They are not supposed to be over photoshoped (include your wrinkles and natural blemishes!!), without distracting background and are usually made available in B&W and colour.
These images will be available to James very soon and for use in promoting his acting career.
If YOU require and headshots for your staff, band or team – please get in touch. Actors and extras too – if you are an actor or extra and require recent headshots, relaxed and correctly lit – please contact me to see what I can do. I can supply images to actors, extras, writers, dancers, presenters, graduates or children and young performers.

Wedding Photographer at St Huberts in Idsworth and Eartham House near Chichester

Today I was at St Huberts church in Idsworth, near Rowlands Castle and Eartham House, near Chichester. I was doing the wedding photography for Meriel and Pete.
St Huberts is probably the oldest and most stunning rural church I have ever visited in the UK and is well worth a visit if you are ever in this area. After the ceremony and some photos in the church (it rained – but certainly didn’t dampen spirits!!), we all headed off to Eartham House School, near Chichester.
Attached to my blog are a few of my favourite photos (there were a lot!!) from the day. Eartham House is a fantastic location for a wedding, with a grand front entrance, numerous grand rooms, a conservatory and a massive private and well maintained garden. It even had a small chapel on site. It makes it a great venue for relaxed wedding photography.
The images will be available for viewing for Meriel and Pete and their families soon. Attached are some of my favourites from this fantastic day.
