Baby photographer in Emsworth, Hampshire

Today I did some portraits for a local family with a baby. Done in a variety of different styles, I captured some individual portraits of a baby in a Christmas themed outfit or two!

I am running a 'Bump to Baby' and newborn scheme via my website and various mailers I do for local families and previous clients. I have some more coming up soon and some good availability too! It is a good idea to capture some images of your baby at intervals throughout the first year and starting from say around four weeks. If this appeals to you – why not get in touch and see what we can arrange. There is never any sales pressure from me and typically these sittings are either FREE or low cost and with a credit towards print sales.

The images will be available for viewing for parents and their families shortly after each session and there are a small selection posted here too, to give you an insight into my style and approach.

Wedding Photographer at the Portsmouth Register Offices, in Old Portsmouth and the Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island

Today I was at Portsmouth Registrar Offices. I was doing the wedding photography for Dina and Gavin and it was a great day.

After a Midday ceremony and a few family shots on the stair case - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Register Offices before the couple headed off to the Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island.
The Portsmouth Register Offices is one of my favourite Register Offices to cover, as the space and gardens are fantastic and the staff are always helpful to me too.

It was an intimate family wedding, with around ten guests in attendance. I left the hotel at around two thirty PM, during afternoon tea and prior to the wedding meal being served.

All the images were available for viewing for Dina and Gavin and their families very quickly.

The baby was around eight months old and was the son of a couple who's wedding I photographed a year or so ago. There was a Christmas and a Christening theme as you can see.

Sports Event Photographer at the Gosport Half Marathon

Today I attended the Gosport Half Marathon, hosted by the members of Gosport Road Runners Running Club: www.gosportroadrunners.org.uk They are a very friendly and supportive crowd and the marshals and support crew do a fantastic job at this event which I have covered now for numerous years.
I was the official photographer for the event on 16th November 2014. The event website is here: www.gosportroadrunners.org.uk and it was a good turnout / entry level.

We had overcast conditions with light showers and I managed to capture a good selection of images on the course. I photographed the promenade in Lee on The Solent and was able to capture images of the vast majority of runners as they ran towards home at around 11 miles.

The images were available for viewing and sale to the runners very soon, typically within 24 hours of each event – often the same day. You can see the photos at my website: www.martinlewis.biz

Wedding Photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth

Madeleine and Gary's wedding was at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth. I was at HMS Warrior by mid afternoon and for their 5.15pm ceremony. We had a great afternoon and evening, despite the darkness and heavy rain. The FUN created by Madeleine and Gary and their family and friends certainly made up for the weather, as did HMS Warrior - simply fantastic for wedding photography.

There are just a few favourite photos from this day and Warrior looks quite different when it is dark and the photographic opportunities are mainly indoors and below deck!
