Wedding photographer at the Royal Marines Museum in Southsea.

Today I was doing the photography for Louise and Peter who married at The Royal Marines Museum, Southsea, Hampshire. I have uploaded a fair few images here from their day and will be showcasing just a few images from each wedding this year.

The website for the Royal Marines Museum is here: www.royalmarinesmuseum.co.uk I love working at this venue, with its close proximity to Southsea and Portsmouth and very helpful and supportive staff (thank you Pam and the team). The venue has fantastic grounds and rooms and a beautiful staircase for photos. I am already booked to cover other weddings here later in 2016 too. I have shown just a couple of images here from todays wedding, as usual.

I am currently offering some very good rates and have some remaining availability for some key 2016 dates, subject to my availability. Please do get in touch - I look forward to possibly working for YOU too. If you book during January or February for this year - I will offer you a special deal (a New Year SALE!!) so please do get in touch now!

I will shortly be completing my 'round' of local wedding fayres through January through to April and so remaining dates will naturally fill soon.

Wedding Photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth

Madeleine and Gary's wedding was at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth. I was at HMS Warrior by mid afternoon and for their 5.15pm ceremony. We had a great afternoon and evening, despite the darkness and heavy rain. The FUN created by Madeleine and Gary and their family and friends certainly made up for the weather, as did HMS Warrior - simply fantastic for wedding photography.

The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly Erin, Emma and Julie who coordinate their events and weddings. I also thank County Caterers who provided the fantastic reception meal, as always at HMS Warrior.

There are just a few favourite photos from this day and Warrior looks quite different when it is dark and the photographic opportunities are mainly indoors and below deck!

I am having a busy 2014 and so just list a few photos from each wedding I attend. I still have some availability going through this Winter and I am now offering discounts for remaining Winter dates and ultra affordable mid week options. Please do get in touch if this interests you at all.

Wedding photography at New Place in Shirrell Heath, Southampton, Hampshire.

Whilst most people were still nursing their hangovers, I was off already in 2011 at a New Year wedding at New Place in Shirrell Heath near Southampton, Hampshire - one of my favourite venues for wedding photography. I was doing the wedding photography for Leeanne and John. We were in the Bristol Room at New Place which is great for smaller wedding parties and has a huge attractive fireplace and paneled walls throughout. It also has some adjacent landscaped gardens and staircases – great for photos. We were assisted by the wedding coordinator called Eli Gray and she was very helpful to me throughout the day. She can be contacted on 01329 836 511.

The 1pm ceremony was complex to photograph at New Place as the room was full and the large bay windows are light facing – making for tricky conditions. There are also some very creaky floorboards in the vicinity I have to stand!!
After a few photos with the Classic Rolls Royce wedding car from Lawnswood Limousines: http://www.llcars.co.uk/ we all headed into the gardens for some family photos, with great bright light conditions for the time of year.

During the ceremony a fantastic Sinatra ‘Sound a Like’ called Paul Holgate provided some fantastic tunes and he played during meal and photo times too. His website is here: www.sosinatra.com 07702 526 692. I enjoyed his music and plan to list him on the links page of my website shortly too.

A great meal was provided by the staff of New Place. You can view their website here: http://www.devere.co.uk/our-locations/new-place.html A Devere Venue and a very popular one amongst local couples, for good reason.
The images will be available for viewing for Leeanne and John and their families very soon and a few are shown here.
