Today I was doing the photography for Clare and Nathan who married at
St Swithuns Catholic church and The Royal Marines Museum in Southsea, Hampshire. I have uploaded some images here from their day and continue to showcase just a few
images from each wedding I photpograph on my blog.
The website for the Royal Marines Museum is here: www.royalmarinesmuseum.co.uk
I love working at this venue, with its close proximity to Southsea and
Portsmouth and very helpful and supportive staff (thank you Pam, Anna, Steve
and the team). The venue has fantstic grounds and rooms and a beautiful
staircase for photos. I am already booked to cover other weddings here in 2017 too. I have shown just a couple of images here and will
typically do likewise for each of my weddings in the New Year.
I am
currently offering some very good rates and have some remaining
availability for some key 2017 dates, subject to my availability. Please
do get in touch - I look forward to possibly working for YOU too. I
will shortly be completing my 'round' of local wedding fayres through
January, February, March and April and so remaining 2017 dates (and 2018 naturally)
will fill soon.

Official event photographer at the Gosport Half Marathon in Gosport, Hampshire
Today I attended the Gosport Half Marathon, hosted by the members of Gosport Road Runners Running Club: www.gosportroadrunners.org.uk They
are a friendly and supportive crowd and the marshals and support crew
do a fantastic job at this event which I have covered now for many
years.
I was the official photographer for the event on 20th November 2016. The event website is here: www.gosportroadrunners.org.uk and it was a good turnout / entry level.
We had very blustery and cool, overcast conditions, but I managed to capture a good selection of images on the course. I photographed at the promenade in Lee on The Solent and was able to capture images of the vast majority of runners as they ran towards home at around 11 miles.
The images will be available for viewing and sale to the runners very soon, typically within 24 hours of each event – often the same day. Photos are priced at very reasonable rates and there are discounts on my usual digital image (JPG) sales this year.

Wedding photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth, Hampshire
Today was a local wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic
Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Paula and Stephen.
The ceremony was good to photograph and was in the Captains Cabin. We had a great day at this venue and we got some great opportunities for photos around the ship, despite a little drizzle and failing light. Shortly after the wedding ceremony we captured some family, group and other photos, before heading down below for a meal and evening reception. The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly Hannah, Emma and Julie who coordinate their events and weddings.
If YOU are geting married mid week and require a pro wedding photographer but just for a short duration - why not get in touch and find out about my availability and the great offers I can offer YOU TOO.

Wedding photographer at Holme for Gardens, near Wareham in Dorset
Today was a Scientologhy wedding at Holme for Gardens near Wareham in Dorset. I was doing the wedding photography for Kriszta and Martin.
I met the couple at their home for a few 'getting ready' type photos in Poole before heading off to the reception venue (their official wedding was at 9am at Poole Register Offices) for this Scientology ceremony and some photos with the couple in a quite fantastc gardens at the venue known as Holme for Gardens.
We had a great day at this venue and we got some great opportunities for photos around the ponds and gardens and it was a bright day with a little cloud at times. Shortly after the wedding ceremony we captured some family, group and other photos, before tea and cakes were served. What a fab way to celebrate a wedding!
Hopefully this is obvious - but just to say that I present say 200-450 images to most couples and a few of those may be copied as Vivid colour, Black and White, Mocha or say a film effect. I tend to put a few of those edited images on my blog and other social media. But the couple will always get all the original images presented, plus any edited copies as well. I just thought I should make that clear, particularly as I often post some of those edited photos as favourites of the day (of mine).
If YOU are geting married mid week and require a pro wedding photographer but just for a short duration - why not get in touch and find out about my availability and the great ultra affordable offers I can offer YOU TOO.

Wedding photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth, Hampshire
Today was a local wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic
Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Pauline and Alistair.
The guests mostly arrived together for the wedding and they were treated to a surprise as they did not know the venue, nor that they were going to a wedding until they arrived. What a great idea!
The ceremony was good to photograph and was on the Half Deck. We had a great day at this venue and we got some great opportunities for photos around the ship, despite a little drizzle. Shortly after the wedding ceremony we captured some family, group and other photos, before heading down below for a meal and evening reception. Wedding photographer for same sex wedding at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, Hampshire
Today I was at The Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, Hampshire. I was doing the wedding photography for Sean
and Todd and it was a great day!
In case you didn't notice I was lucky enough to be photographing two grooms today, in a same sex wedding. I have photographed a good number Civil Partnership Ceremonies in the past, but cannot recall a same sex wedding of two men until this one. It was a first for me therefore.
Prior to a 5pm ceremony - we went for some photos at various locations around the Theatre and local park and art gallery before the couple headed back to the ceremony which was in between performances of Mamma Mia the Abba musical.
I enjoyed working at this local Theatre and the staff were very helpful to me too. Everything ran very smoothly and the couple and the guests seemend to have a fantstic time.
All the images were available for viewing for Sean and Todd and their families very quickly.
If YOU are getting married this Winter - Please do get in touch and see what late availability, or special offers I might have available for YOU!
