Wedding photographer at Portsmouth Roman Catholic Cathedral and HMS Warrior

Today was a local wedding at the Roman Catholic Cathedral and a receptoin at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Ruth and Richard and they were lovely to work with.

The ceremony was good to photograph and the general photos occured initially inside the Cathedral owing to the inclement weather. The couple were driven by Steve at Craneswater Cars in his amazing 1930s Rolls Royce wedding car. The food was provided by Vanilla Catering who also supplied some food for me. The caterers and staff at HMS Warrior were super helpful to me also. Just a few images from the day are below, to illustate a flavour of the day.

You can see the website of HMS Warrior here and their contact and other details are all on their website.

Especially if you are holding a short (half day or maybe a few hours) wedding ceremony or special event - please do get in touch and check my availability and see what affordable options I may be able to offer YOU. There are still some key Summer / Autumn dates free for 2023 (and beyond into 2024) at the time of writing this text. Please do get in touch if you think I can help you.

Wedding photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Today was a local wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Uzma and John.

The ceremony was great to photograph and was at 4pm in the Captains Cabin. We had a great day at this venue and we were very lucky to get great weather conditions - for some good opportunities for photos around the ship.

The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly new colleague Mel who now coordinate their events and weddings.

Wedding photographer at HMS Warrior and also the Royal Beach Hotel in Portsmouth and Southsea in Hampshire

Today was a local wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Sarah and Chris & they were fab people to work with.

The ceremony was great to photograph and was on the Half Deck before we went into Captains Cabin for a couple of quick photos too. We had a great day at this venue and we were very lucky to get great weather conditions - for some great opportunities for photos around the ship. HMS Warrior is one of my favourite places to photograph a wedding because of the variety of views and locations and maritime history and themes.

The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly new colleagues Roxy and Hayley who now coordinate their events and weddings. On this day I was supported by Pam from the Royal Marines museum and who I see at a range of the museums of the Royal Navy. It was good to see Pam and she was very helpful and supportive to me as usual.

After the photos were completed at HMS warrior I went with all the guests via coach to the reception venue which was the Royal Beach Hotel in Southsea. Here we were supported by Davina at the Hotel and a fab afternoon an evening was had. I should also mention the support and great service we all got with Ronnie Booth - a professional Toastmater and Master of Ceremonies. Ronnie was great and you can see his website here: Ronnie Booth

If you are holding a small or short (ratherthan half or all day) wedding or special event - please do get in touch and check my availability and see what I may be able to offer YOU. There are still some dates free for 2018 and also 2019 at the time of writing this text.

Wedding photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth historic dockyard.

Today was a local wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Rachel and Colin.

The 11.30am ceremony was great to photograph and was in Captains Cabin. We had a great day at this venue and we were very lucky to get great weather conditions - for some great opportunities for photos around the ship. There were only 11 guests and so it was a small event and short day (around two hours) for me.

The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly new colleagues Roxy and Hayley who now coordinate their events and weddings.

After the photos were completed at HMS warrior I was free to return home and edit them! There are still some dates free for 2017 and also 2018 at the time of writing this text.
