Wedding photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Today was a local wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Pauline and Alistair.
The guests mostly arrived together for the wedding and they were treated to a surprise as they did not know the venue, nor that they were going to a wedding until they arrived. What a great idea!
The ceremony was good to photograph and was on the Half Deck. We had a great day at this venue and we got some great opportunities for photos around the ship, despite a little drizzle. Shortly after the wedding ceremony we captured some family, group and other photos, before heading down below for a meal and evening reception. The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly Hannah, Emma and Julie who coordinate their events and weddings.
If YOU are geting married mid week and require a pro wedding photographer but just for a short duration - why not get in touch and find out about my availability and the great offers I can offer YOU TOO.

Wedding photographer for same sex wedding at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, Hampshire

Today I was at The Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, Hampshire. I was doing the wedding photography for Sean and Todd and it was a great day!

In case you didn't notice I was lucky enough to be photographing two grooms today, in a same sex wedding. I have photographed a good number Civil Partnership Ceremonies in the past, but cannot recall a same sex wedding of two men until this one. It was a first for me therefore.

Prior to a 5pm ceremony - we went for some photos at various locations around the Theatre and local park and art gallery before the couple headed back to the ceremony which was in between performances of Mamma Mia the Abba musical.

I enjoyed working at this local Theatre and the staff were very helpful to me too. Everything ran very smoothly and the couple and the guests seemend to have a fantstic time.

All the images were available for viewing for Sean and Todd and their families very quickly.

If YOU are getting married this Winter - Please do get in touch and see what late availability, or special offers I might have available for YOU!

Wedding photohgrapher at Rowfant House near Crawley in West Sussex

Today I was at Rowfant House near Cawley in West Sussex. I was doing the wedding photography for Sue and Derek and they were great to work with.
I use this blog to showcase a small sample of my on-going and full time photographic work. So you’ll see a lot more photos and work than words and thoughts on my blog. Hopefully, you’ll like what you see. Over the summer months I focus on gettig a small selection of photos from each event live, rather than writing lots of text!
Attached to my blog are a few of my favourite photos from this day. I captured a good selection of images over the course of this day and usually present say 250 - 400 images to the couple. The images were available for viewing very soon after the day.

Wedding photographer at the Royal Marines Museum in Southsea, Hampshire

Today I was doing the photography for Rachel and Scott who married at The Royal Marines Museum, Southsea, Hampshire. I have uploaded a fair few images here from their day and will be showcasing just a few images from each wedding this year.
The website for the Royal Marines Museum is here: www.royalmarinesmuseum.co.uk I love working at this venue, with its close proximity to Southsea and Portsmouth and very helpful and supportive staff (thank you Pam, Steven and the team). The venue has fantstic grounds and rooms and a beautiful staircase for photos. I am already booked to cover other weddings here in 2017 too. I have shown just a couple of images here and will typically do likewise for each of my weddings in 2016.
I am currently offering some very good rates and have some remaining availability for some key 2016 dates, subject to my availability. Please do get in touch - I look forward to possibly working for YOU too. I will shortly be completing my 'round' of local wedding fayres through the Autumn and New Year and so remaining dates (and 2016 naturally) will fill soon.
