Commercial and PR photography at Artec Engineering in Emsworth, Hampshire

Today was an interesting job for me - no brides, grooms, babies, horses, Christmas Parties or runners - instead I was doing some commercial photography for a local metal work supplier – Artec Engineering. They are precision metal spinners, welders and fabricators. It was a fascinating day of photography - covering product shots, team and staff headshots and some images of the staff at work in their workshops.

I wish to thank the Directors and staff at Artec Engineering in Emsworth for inviting me along and allowing me to photograph their products and staff at work. It certainly was an interesting experience.

PR Photography at the Langrish House Hotel at Langrish, near Petersfield.

Today I was doing some commercial / PR photography for a local Hotel and one where I appear in the venues Ceremonies brochure for weddings. The website for the Langrish House Hotel is here:  http://www.langrishhouse.co.uk/

The event was a Christmas Party for a local firm called Sheen Strickland and they are based locally - with offices in Chichester, near to my base. The DJ was DJ Joe - Joe Smith Entertainments . Joe is based in Havant and is a trusted local supplier who I recommend to my clients also.

These images will be available soon for the Managers and Owners at Langrish House for use in their PR, website, publications, and other materials - including Social Media.

PR Photographer in Wimborne, Dorset

Today was an interesting job for me and in a local pharmacy at Wimborne in Dorset - I was the PR and commercial photographer who was asked to capture some images at the location for use in the promotion of the new store opening. 

The images will be used for various trade media and made for an interesting and different job for me. Testimonials and images like mine will then be used to support some articles in their trade media, local press and internal publications. 

My images were primarily captured to show the ribbon cutting and opening ceremony and good quality images like these can help to promote the brand awareness and use of facilities such as this impressive local store.

PR and commercial photographer in Havant in Hampshire

Today was an interesting job for me and in a local Newsagents at Havant in Hampshire - I was the PR and commercial photographer who was asked to capture some images at the location for use in the promotion of Nescafe and Go.


The images will be used for various trade media and made for an interesting and different job for me. Nescafe and Go is a hot beverage machine aimed at businesses including convenience stores, garage forecourts, post offices and newsagents. SS Newsagents in Havant is run by Mr and Mrs Damani who also run their local Post Office from within the store.     

The initiative involved a PR Company and a trial of Nescafe and Go machines in a range of small businesses. Testimonials and images like mine will then be used to support some advertorials in the trade media. This will include magazines aimed at Managers and decision makers at Post Offices, convenience stores, newsagents and petrol stations. 

My images were captured to show the machine in situ and in use and good quality images like these can help to promote the brand awareness and use of facilities such as this unique hot drink machine.

PR Photoshoot at Esso Petrol Service Station at the Hogs Back A31, Tongham, Surrey

Today was an interesting job for me and in an Esso Service Station near Farnham in Surrey - I was the PR photographer who was asked to capture some images at the location along with a local optician and lens manufacturer.

Farnham driverrs to get on-the-spot eye tests

Esso Petrol Station, A31, Hogs Back, Tongham, Surrey, GU10 1EU

On Tuesday 19 November, drivers in Farnham will be offered forecourt vision screening in a bid to cut accidents caused by poor eyesight.

Local optician, The Optical Studio, and Esso petrol station in Farnham have joined forces as part of a national campaign to help reduce the estimated 3,000 casualties a year where eyesight is a key factor.

Drivers visiting the garage will be offered a free check by optometrist Bejal Patel who will give on-the-spot consultations and advice.

The Mayor of Farnham, Councillor Patrick Blagden will be setting an example when he steps up to the mark to check his eyes are safe at 11am on Tuesday.

The initiative coincides with Road Safety Week (18-24 November) and forms part of the Think About Your Eyes campaign which aims to identify poor eyesight on the road and urge drivers to take extra care as the nights draw in and visibility worsens.

Dhruve Patel, optician from The Optical Studio said: “A recent study revealed one in six drivers in the South East struggled to read the number plate of the car in front and one in four worried as a passenger about their drivers vision.

“This is a great opportunity for people to become more responsible drivers and I would encourage anyone in the area to pop in and take advantage of the 30-second check. It may just save lives.”
