Wedding photographer at St Nicholas Church on Thorney Island and at Hollybank House in Emsworth

Today I was at St Nicholas church, Thorney Island and Hollybank House in Emsworth in Hampshire. I was doing the wedding photography for Becky and Angus.

I use my blog to showcase a small sample of my photographic work. So you’ll see a lot more photos and work than words and thoughts on my blog. Hopefully, you’ll like what you see. I focus on gettig a small selection of photos from each event live, rather than writing lots of text.

Attached to my blog are a few of my favourite photos from this day. I captured a good selection of images over the course of this day and usually present say 250 - 400 images to the couple. The images were available for viewing shortly after the day.

For the forseeable future, I can offer some amazing preferential rate options on wedding photography. So if that interests you at all - please do feel free to get in touch and check out my availability and see what options I may be able to offer you too. Lets hope we can soon see the wedding industry to be 'back to normal' and look forward to a positive future now.

Wedding Photographer at St Nicholas church on Hayling Island, Hampshire

Today was a local wedding at St Nicholas church on Thorney Island. I was doing the wedding photography for Abbie and Alex.

We had a great day and we got some great opportunities for photos around the church and at the grounds of the Langstone Hotel, where the couple held their wedding breakfast and evening reception. I enjoy working at the Langstone Hotel frequently and offer my thanks to Sophie, Emily and Franco and colleagues. See you again soon!

I am just listing a few photos and hardly any words for the remaining 2015 weddings I am attending. Bookings and inquiries are also now flooding in for 2016 and 2017 - so please do get in touch as soon as you are able to - should you need a popular, qualified and experienced local wedding photographer in the coming few years.

Wedding Photographer at St Nicholas church on Thorney Island in Hampshire

Today I was at St Nicholas church on Thorney Island. I was doing the wedding photography for Hannah and Michael it was a lovely day and great to share it with the couple and their families.

After a 15.00hrs ceremony and a few family photos in the church grounds, I then spent some time photographing the couple in the church grounds and until just before the rain started!

I left the adjacent Sailing Centre reception venue at around five pm, during the start of the meal - so a pretty short day for me! A lovely small rural church wedding with views out over Chichester harbour. Thorney Island is a military base used by the British Army, but the area we were in has a sleepy rural village feel and great views out over the harbour.

All the images were available for viewing for Hannah and Michael and their families very quickly.

My diary is fortunately still filling fast. This week were bookings as near as May 2015, but also for February 2016. So whilst I would always recommend you plan long term - if YOU are getting married soon and still haven't booked a photographer - Please do get in touch and see what late availability, or special offers I might have available for YOU!

Wedding Photographer at St Nicholas Church on Thorney Island in Hampshire.

Todays wedding ceremony was at St Nicholas church on Thorney Island, Hampshire. The reception was in Portsmouth, albeit I was only attending the church (10.30 ceremony) and for a short stay, before departing at midday. The ceremony was good to photograph as the church benefits from a fair amount of natural light and the Vicar was helpful to me.

Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, the Guard of Honour we all assembled outside in the sun for some family photos.
After some group photos and some with the couple, the guests all headed off in mini buses for the wedding breakfast just before midday. I do cover a number of ‘short’ weddings and particularly away from the popular summer Saturdays. If this appeals to YOU – please do get in touch to see what I may be able to offer you.
