Wedding Photographer at Old Thorns Hotel near Liphook, Hampshire

Today I was at The Old Thorns Hotel, Golf and Country Club near Liphook in Hampshire. I was doing the wedding photography for Laura and Kevin.

Old Thorns is a great location for wedding photography and the views out on the golf course make for exceptional and panoramic ones. The staff are always a pleasure to work with and I enjoy being at this hotel for my work.

I simply use this blog to showcase a small sample of ALL of my on-going and full time photographic work. So you’ll see a lot more photos and work than words and thoughts on my blog. Hopefully, you’ll like what you see.

Attached to my blog are just a few of my favourite photos from this day. The images were available for viewing for the couple, their family and friends very soon after the day.

I am going through a very busy summer this year, with bookings flooding in for summer 2014 too - but some availability exists for key dates still and also key dates in the coming Winter. Wedding Photographer at Old Thorns Hotel and Country Club near Petersfield

Today I was at Old Thorns Hotel and Country Club near Petersfield, as I was doing the wedding photography for Stephanie and Matthew. I Love working at this hotel which has fantastic grounds out on the golf course which make it a wedding photographers dream venue.

Wedding Photographer at Old Thorns Hotel and Country Club near Liphook in Hampshire

Today I was at the Old Thorns Manor Hotel, Golf and Country Estate, near Liphook in Hampshire. I was doing the wedding photography for Joanne and Robert.
Jo and Rob were good FUN to work with and clearly had an enjoyable time. After a short ceremony, effectively in a new bar location at the hotel, we all headed back to The Hampshire Suite, for an afternoon and evening of photos, a wedding breakfast and celebrations into the night. I hadn’t attended the venue since March 2010 and it is still being redeveloped extensively and we were in the 'Hampshire Suite' and not the ‘Grand Ballroom’ location on this occasion at this fantastic venue. The highlights for me included photos on the golf course near to a lake with fountain and some other fabulous locations. We were driven around in golf buggies at speed by Greg who was very helpful and knew all the best places to visit. I have attached a few of those images to give you a flavor of the day and can’t wait until the next time I return to this fantastic (from a photography perspective) location for a wedding in Hampshire.
I thoroughly enjoyed working at Old Thorns again and got on well with their wedding coordinator and the in house disco DJ who was clearly very experienced and knowledgeable about all aspects of his job.

Hampshire Wedding Photographer. St Marys in Selborne and The Old Thorns Hotel, Golf and Country Estate.

Today I was at St Marys church in the hamlet of Selborne in Hampshire. I was doing the wedding photography for Hannah and James.

I hadn’t attended St Marys church before and it was beautiful to photograph and the service was conducted by the Rev Tony Piers who was very welcoming to me and also all the guests. They were allowed to photograph after the signing of the register, making for an inclusive and positive atmosphere.

After a 1.00pm ceremony some sneaky April showers arrived and so we initially posed for some photos within the church itself, before a break in the showers enabled us to conclude some of the larger family groups, candids and confetti, outdoors.

We then all headed off the Old Thorns Manor Hotel, Golf and Country Estate for an afternoon and evening of celebrations. You can see their website here: http://www.oldthorns.com/

The highlights for me included photos on the (admittedly rather damp!) golf course near to a lake with fountain, and some fantastic disco shots during the first dance in the evening time. I have attached a few of those images to give you a flavor of the day and can’t wait until the next time I return to this fantastic (from a photography perspective) location for a wedding in Hampshire.
