Wedding Photography in Hampshire. Portsmouth Register Offices and The Royal Maritime Club in Portsmouth

Today I was at Portsmouth Registrar Offices. I was doing the wedding photography for Hazel and Kevin.

After a 12.00pm ceremony and a couple of shots on the stair case - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Register Offices before the couple headed off to Old Portsmouth in their wedding car for some photos with me near the Old Town Walls. The wedding car was a fantastic modern Jaguar and one of a number of great cars offered by Craneswater Wedding Cars in Southsea. They can be contacted via: http://www.craneswaterweddingcars.co.uk/

We then headed over to The Royal Maritime Club for the wedding breakfast and an evening of celebrations.

Wedding photography in Dorset. HighCliffe Castle in Christchurch, Dorset.

Today I was at one of my all time favorite locations for wedding photography – Highcliffe Castle, near Christchurch in Dorset. I was doing the wedding photography for Lucy and David.

The ceremony was great to photograph as there is ample space for all the guests and fantastic light in the almost conservatory like annex to the Castle and where the ceremonies take place. It was certainly a little warm indoors and out, however, as it was a very hot day. The gardens and backdrop of the Castle itself are truly special & make for fantastic photo opportunities too.

We had very bright (HOT!!) conditions and great opportunities for photos. Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we opted for some photos in the main gardens and at various locations around the castle, before the couple and their guests headed off to The Lord Bute for a great meal.

Wedding photography in Hampshire. HMS Warrior in Portsmouth.

Today was a local ‘all day’ wedding at one of my favorite locations – HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Emily and Chris.

.....Emily and her Father arrived at HMS Warrior in a silver Crysler.

The ceremony was great to photograph and was on the ‘Half Deck’. The mood and atmosphere at this venue is fantastic.

We were lucky to get superb weather conditions - for some great opportunities for photos around the ship. Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we opted for some photos on deck and at various locations, before the couple and their 138 guests headed below for a great meal, provided by the staff of County Caterers. Having concluded my photography at Southampton this afternoon, I headed over to one of my favorite locations – HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the Silver Wedding photography for Christine and Jevan.

We were lucky to get fantastic conditions for some great opportunities for photos around the ship. We opted for some photos on deck and at various locations, before the couple and their guests headed below for a great meal, provided by the staff of County Caterers.

Wedding Photography in Southampton. Southampton Register Offices

Today was an afternoon wedding at Southampton Register Offices. I was doing the wedding photography for Helen and Bernie.

The ceremony was good to photograph as the main Golden Jubilee ceremony room at Southampton is large and well lit via a huge and attractive stained glass window.

We were lucky to get mainly dry conditions after a damp interlude during mid afternoon - for some great opportunities in the arches to the side of the Register Offices and adjacent gardens and local Town Walls.
