Wedding photographer at the Square Tower in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Today I was at The Square Tower in Old Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Donna and Lewis.

After the ceremony we captured a few group photos near the town walls, then the couple and myself headed off to the Town Walls, just along from the Square Tower www.squaretower.co.uk  The Square Tower is a great location and Steve - the Manager and contact - is available via their website, or enquiries@squaretower.co.uk or 07519 505 785. I simply use this blog to showcase a small sample of ALL of my on-going and full time photographic work. So you’ll see a lot more photos and work than words and thoughts on my blog. Hopefully, you’ll like what you see. Attached to my blog are just a few of my favourite photos from this day. The images were available for viewing for the couple, their family and friends very soon after the day.

I have a very busy summer this year, with bookings flooding in for summer 2015 and 16 too - but some availability exists for key dates still and also key dates in the coming Winter, especially. Pet photography in Emsworth, Hampshire

Today was a commission with a difference for me. I was doing the photography for another Martin and his mature and quite frail, but fantastic Jack Russell dog.

Wedding Photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth.

Today was a Hampshire wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Jackie and Jonathan.

The ceremony was great to photograph and was on the ‘Half Deck’. The mood and atmosphere at this venue is fantastic. We were lucky to get great weather conditions - for some great opportunities for photos around the ship. I just include a few photos from this wedding to give you a flavour of the day and also my photography. 

Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we opted for some photos on deck and at various locations, before the couple and their guests headed below for a great meal, provided by the staff of County Caterers. Wedding photographer at the Art Gallery in Southampton, Hampshire.

Today was a wedding at the Art Gallery in Southampton with Lynda and Graham. It tirned out to be a fantastic location for wedding photography. After the ceremony and some family photos and some with the couple, we had a short drive from the art gallery to a reception at a lovely bar called Merchants, nearby at Ocean Village. It was a fantastic day to photograph and I was working with Lynda and Graham from around midday until their meal commenced at around 6pm. Thank you and congratulations to Lynda and Graham!! I have uploaded just a few images here from the day.

Golden Wedding Celebration photographer at the Brookfield Hotel in Emsworth

This afternoon I attended The Brookfield Hotel in Emsworth to photograph a special event being hosted by one of their guests. It was a Golden Wedding Anniversary party with around 30 guests attending a family reunion. You can view the website of the hotel here: www.brookfieldhotel.co.uk

I have attached a few images – it was an informal family event and was attended by around 30 people. Couples and family groups posed for some portraits in the attractive gardens at the hotel between around midday and 1.00pm. Graduation photographer in Brighton, East Sussex

All day today, I attended The Dome in Brighton to photograph an Open University Graduation Ceremony and along with six or seven other freelance photographers. We were all working for a National leading provider of graduation photography and supplier of gowns and I cover this kind of work at key times throughout the year and at a wide range of UK universities.

I was working in a studio environment from 8.30am until around 4pm. There was just one ceremony and around 350 graduates that came through the studios on this date. Whilst not my usual job, I enjoy the structure of this kind of work and also meeting a group of friendly and professional freelance photographers (most of whom are not wedding photographers) for a catch up.

I am not suposed to display or retain images from this day and so I have uploaded some samples I shot sometime earlier - just to give you a flavour of what we do.
