Wedding photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth

Today was a local wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Tyler and Andy.

The ceremony was great to photograph and was on the Half Deck. We had a great day at this venue which is fantastic in my view and all those present seemed to have a great day too. We were very lucky to get great weather conditions (it seems to be summer now?!) - for some great opportunities for photos around the ship.
The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly Marcus, Emma and Julie who coordinate their events and weddings.

Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, the couple then joined in with a 50+ strong marching band. After this we opted for some photos on deck and at various locations, before the couple and their guests headed down below for an evening reception hosted by the fantastic staff of County Caterers.

As you can see from my small selection of photos - there was a strong Naval theme to this wedding. The last photo in the sequence is of an impressive Sail Training Mexican Tall Ship which was moored alongside in an adjacent berth to Warrior and looked stunning with its massive flags in daylight and lights in the evening.
The evenings entertainment was provided by resident DJ Pete Travers and everyone seemed to enjoy the day and evening reception.

As always these images are © Martin Lewis Photographer and are protected under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and may not be used for any purpose without written permission from myself.
