Wedding photographer at HMS Warrior and also the Royal Beach Hotel in Portsmouth and Southsea in Hampshire

Today was a local wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Sarah and Chris & they were fab people to work with.

The ceremony was great to photograph and was on the Half Deck before we went into Captains Cabin for a couple of quick photos too. We had a great day at this venue and we were very lucky to get great weather conditions - for some great opportunities for photos around the ship. HMS Warrior is one of my favourite places to photograph a wedding because of the variety of views and locations and maritime history and themes.

The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly new colleagues Roxy and Hayley who now coordinate their events and weddings. On this day I was supported by Pam from the Royal Marines museum and who I see at a range of the museums of the Royal Navy. It was good to see Pam and she was very helpful and supportive to me as usual.

After the photos were completed at HMS warrior I went with all the guests via coach to the reception venue which was the Royal Beach Hotel in Southsea. Here we were supported by Davina at the Hotel and a fab afternoon an evening was had. I should also mention the support and great service we all got with Ronnie Booth - a professional Toastmater and Master of Ceremonies. Ronnie was great and you can see his website here: Ronnie Booth
