Special event photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth

Tonight I was working in Portsmouth Naval Base, after a pretty full week of commercial and PR type photography. I was at HMS Warrior for about two hours, for a unique Special Event held by the Father of a Groom to be.

After arrivals and a few photos, the 30 or so guests were taken on a fascinating tour of the ship, prior to a blessing ceremony in Captains Cabin and followed by a meal and entertainments on board ship.

PR and commercial photography at a Charity dinner on board HMS Warrior in Portsmouth

Today, I was at HMS Warrior for a couple of hours to photograph a Charity dinner for the Tall Ships Youth Trust who are based on the Hard in Portsmouth docks. The images show a range of my favourites from an interesting and entertaining evening! There were around 200 people, plus entertainers, caterers and staff present and on board HMS Warrior this night. It was a great event to photograph and very well attended and organised. The guests all had a great time and there was lots of entertainment and so lots going on to photograph.

Renewal of Vows photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth

Kim and Sean held their renewal of vows ceremony at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth and it was Valentines Day. The couple originally married in Portsmouth Register Offices on Valentines Day 1985 - 30 years ago to the day!! I was at HMS Warrior by early afternoon and for their 3pm ceremony. We had a great afternoon, despite the drizzle and took photos outside and then indoors, after the showers set in. HMS Warrior - is simply fantastic for wedding or special event photography.

There are just a few favourite photos from this day and Warrior looks quite different when the photographic opportunities are mainly indoors and below deck!

After the ceremony and some photos at different locations around the ship - I went to the Royal Maritime Club Hotel where the couple were holding their evening reception to their event. Transport for the day was a fabulous 2014 RR which you can see in one of the photos - what a car!

Wedding Photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth

Today was a wedding at HMS Warrior in the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. I was doing the wedding photography for Emma and Richard.

The ceremony was great to photograph and was on the Half Deck. We had a great day at this venue which is fantastic in my view and all those present seemed to have a great day too. We were very lucky to get great weather conditions (it was sunny and warm!) - for some great opportunities for photos around the ship.

Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we opted for some photos on deck and at various locations, before the couple and their guests headed down below for an evening reception hosted by the fantastic staff of County Caterers.
