Wedding photographer at the Portsmouth Register Offices and also HMS Nelson in Portsmouth

Today I was at Portsmouth Registrar Offices. I was doing the wedding photography for Michelle and Adam and it was a lovely day.

After a 3.30pm ceremony and a few family shots on the stair case - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Register Offices before the couple headed off to HMS Nelson for some more photos and then onwards to the Tapas bar known as Sant-Yago in Southsea.

The Portsmouth Register Offices is one of my favourite Register Offices to cover, as the space and gardens are fantastic and the staff are always helpful to me too.

All the images were available for viewing for Michelle and Adam and their families very quickly.

Wedding photographer at HMS Warrior and HMS Nelson in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Eleanor and Grants wedding was at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth and the reception was at HMS Nelson a short drive or walk away.

I was at HMS Warrior for couple of hours, after a midday ceremony. To prove to you that the couple were at the places I mention, I have included one image from each venue. The other images show a range of my other favourites from an alternative part of their day! There were 30 babies or children at this wedding. Check out impeyan.net

The lady with the spider had had a fear of spiders all her life and had never held one in her hands before. Her expressions as she overcame her fear were fantastic!

Wedding Photographer in Southbourne near emsworth and HMS Nelson in Portsmouth

Today I was at a church wedding in my home village of Southbourne, near Emsworth and then HMS Nelson in Portsmouth as I was doing the wedding photography for Clare and Chris.
After the ceremony and some photos inside the church, everyone headed over to HMS Nelson in Portsmouth. I have uploaded just a few favourite images here from the day. Alike the rest of the year so far - it RAINED!! What do wedding photographers do when it rains (no - not call in sick)? We hope the Vicar is receptive to indoor photos (thank you Clive) and that the bride and groom have chosen somewhere as fantastic as HMS Nelson to capture some mainly indoor shots......
In the event, we did get outdoors or under cover with daylight a little during the day, we even met a lion in the gardens. But we made up for any issues with the weather with some fab images in the natural window light in the halls and corridors at HMS Nelson, a few of which are shown here. This kind of day illustrates to any non believers - why you should book a true pro / Master photographer for your rainy day wedding!!
