Today I was at a church wedding in my home village of Southbourne,
near Emsworth and I was doing the wedding photography for Rachel and Dylan.
The church is fantastic for photos and is very close to where I live and am based.
After the ceremony and some photos outside
the church, everyone headedover to the Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island for an afternoon and evening reception. Thank you to Miles and Franco at the Langstone Hotel who did a fantastic job as usual at the hotel.

Wedding photographer at St Johns Church in Southbourne, near Emsworth, in Hampshire.
Today I was at a church wedding in my home village of Southbourne, near Emsworth and I was doing the wedding photography for Rhiannon and Tim. The whole wedding, including most photos, the meal and even the evening dance was in the church - which was a first for me as a wedding photographer!
After the ceremony and some photos inside the church, everyone headed next door whilst the church was prepared for the meal. The whole day took place in the church and also the fantastic reception rooms next door, where cake and tea was served at different times.
I have uploaded just a few favourite images here from the day. As you might be able to tell from my photos - it RAINED!! The Vicar was receptive to indoor photos and very helpful all round (thank you Clive) and so a little rain and wind didn't really dampen the day at all from our perspective......
This kind of day illustrates to any non believers - why you should always book a true pro / Master photographer for your rainy day (even some Summer) wedding!!

Wedding Photographer in Southbourne near emsworth and HMS Nelson in Portsmouth
Today I was at a church wedding in my home village of Southbourne, near Emsworth and then HMS Nelson in Portsmouth as I was doing the wedding photography for Clare and Chris.
After the ceremony and some photos inside the church, everyone headed over to HMS Nelson in Portsmouth. I have uploaded just a few favourite images here from the day. Alike the rest of the year so far - it RAINED!! What do wedding photographers do when it rains (no - not call in sick)? We hope the Vicar is receptive to indoor photos (thank you Clive) and that the bride and groom have chosen somewhere as fantastic as HMS Nelson to capture some mainly indoor shots......
In the event, we did get outdoors or under cover with daylight a little during the day, we even met a lion in the gardens. But we made up for any issues with the weather with some fab images in the natural window light in the halls and corridors at HMS Nelson, a few of which are shown here. This kind of day illustrates to any non believers - why you should book a true pro / Master photographer for your rainy day wedding!!
