Wedding photographer in Hampshire - Proposal 'season' is here. Merry Christmas everyone.

Happy Christmas to everyone. Apparently around now is peak proposal time! So I have decided to refresh my Blog, Instagram and Facebook as the Year almost comes to a close.

A number of recent wedding photography bookings and enquiries have helped remind me that now is the season for proposals and planning for weddings. So I thought I might post a few 'portfolio' type photos here from recent weddings to help generate some interest in my work.

Especially if you are holding a short (half day or maybe a few hours) wedding ceremony or special event - please do get in touch and check my availability and see what I may be able to offer YOU. There are still some key Summer dates free for 2025 at the time of writing this text. Please do get in touch if you think I can help you. Infact my availability for 2025 and 2026 remains pretty good at the moment. My prices remain affordable too. So if you are planning longer term, please feel free to give me a call and together we can help you cross one item off your 'to do' list.

Wedding photographer at Great Fosters in Egham, Surry

Today I was at Great Fosters Hotel, at Egham in Surrey. I was doing the wedding photography for Amy and Peter and they were fab to work with.
After a short ceremony, we all headed out to the amazing landscaped gardens, for an afternoon of photos, a wedding breakfast and celebrations into the night. You can see the website of the fab Great Fosters Hotel here: www.greatfosters.co.uk
I hadn’t attended the venue previously, apart from when I met the couple to plan their photography and with around one month to go. It has incredible grounds with a small bridge over water, various ponds and formal gardens and some tree lined avenues and archways.
I have attached a few of those images to give you a flavor of the day and can’t wait until the next time I return to this fantastic (from a photography perspective) location for a wedding in Surrey.
I thoroughly enjoyed working at Great Fosters and got on very well with the wedding coordinator and colleagues who were all very helpful to me.
The images will be available for viewing for Amy and Peter and their families very soon. Attached are just a few taster ones to show you a little of the detail of the day.

Mid week affordable wedding photography

Today I was at The Worthing Ceremonies Office. I was doing the wedding photography for Kwame and Fatima who were FUN to work with. A small ceremony of only 6 guests, a torrential weather day - but lovely photos with this local couple and an example is this one here of Fatima who is stood on the staircase at her home after the wedding.

I simply use this blog to showcase a small sample of ALL of my on-going and full time photographic work. So you’ll see a lot more photos and work than words and thoughts on my blog. Hopefully, you’ll like what you see. I am currently running some SPECIAL OFFERS for any late availability 2014 wedding photography bookings - so if YOU are interested, please don't hesitate and get in touch asap. My diary is filling fast!!

I also offer ultra affordable mid week wedding photography offers - including all your images on DVD type options from an incredibly low £295. If you are marrying mid week and just want up to a couple of hours coverage and edited images on a DVD, please do get in touch. Regardless of your 'budget' it is always a good idea to pick a full time, experienced pro photographer, if you are able to:

Attached to my blog is ONE of my favourite photos from this day. I captured a good selection of images over the course of this day and presented around 150 images to the couple. The images were available for viewing for the couple and their families, very soon after the day.

Congratulations to all the couples who married and / or were photographed by ME on Valentines Day :-)

Wedding photographer at Marks Hall nr Coggeshall in Essex

Today was a mid week and open air wedding at Marks Hall, Coach House with Chantelle and Ben and it was a fantastic location for a photographer. Thankfully it stayed dry and calm and so the weather was ideally suited to this wedding which started at 4.30pm in the afternoon.

I have uploaded just a few images here from their day & will be simply showcasing just a few images from each wedding for the rest of this busy summer, usually and rather than trying to tell the 'whole story'. Whilst a long distance from my base, I enjoyed working at Marks Hall, with fabulous gardens for photos and very helpful and supportive staff (thank you Kathryn).
I am currently offering some very good rates and discounts for any remaing 2012 dates and into the early New Year too, subject to my availability. Whether it be a wedding, party or other special occasion, I can offer you something different and creative, yet reliable and professional! So, I look forward to possibly helping YOU too.

Wedding Photographer at Portsmouth Register Offices

I recently attended Portsmouth Register Offices to photograph a local wedding and I am a frequent visitor to this particular venue which has to be a favourite of mine. With fantastic gardens and helpful staff - Portsmouth is both attractive and enjoyable to work at.

If you are marrying locally and looking for a local and affordable wedding photography service - why not get in touch. Despite being an experienced and qualified wedding photographer, I am presently offering all new clients a 10% discount and other incentives to book their 2012 wedding photography with Martin Lewis Photographer for any remaining dates. Whilst 2013 and 2014 dates are filling fast, some availability for 2012 still exists, so please feel free to get in touch and check my availability and to inquire about any special offers I may be able to offer YOU. I cover some short duration and mid week weddings, so please do not be put off and assume that I only cover all day Saturday weddings, as this is not the case.
