Wedding Photographer at New Place, near Southampton

Today I was at New Place, Shirrell Heath. I was doing the wedding photography for Melanie and Brent.

I simply use my blog to showcase a small sample of ALL of my on-going and full time photographic work. So you’ll see a lot more photos and work than words and thoughts on my blog. Hopefully, you’ll like what you see. Attached to my blog today, are just a few of my favourite photos from this day. The images were available for viewing for the couple (typically 3-400 each wedding), their family and friends very soon after the day.

I am going through a very busy summer this year, with bookings flooding in for summer 2015 & 16 too - but some availability exists for key dates still and also key dates in the coming Winter. Wedding photographer at New Place near Southampton

Today I was at New Place, Shirrell Heath. I was doing the wedding photography for Marilyn and John. Following arrivals it was a foul day (weather wise only!!) and so we made good use of the fantastic rooms indoors at this lovely venue.

I simply use this blog to showcase a small sample of ALL of my on-going and full time photographic work. So you’ll see a lot more photos and work than words and thoughts on my blog. Hopefully, you’ll like what you see.

Wedding Photographer at St Peters in Soberton and New Place in Shirrell Heath in Hampshire

Today I was at St Peters in Soberton and then on to New Place near Shirrell Heath. After the ceremony and some photos in the church grounds, everyone headed over quite quickly - the short drive to New Place. I have uploaded just a few favourite images here from the day. It was a very long day (11am till 10pm kind of long day) but a very rewarding one too. I hope you like this small sample of my personal favourites from this day. They are mainly my favourite natural light shots of the bride - the joy of wedding photography!!

Wedding photography at New Place in Shirrell Heath, Southampton, Hampshire.

Whilst most people were still nursing their hangovers, I was off already in 2011 at a New Year wedding at New Place in Shirrell Heath near Southampton, Hampshire - one of my favourite venues for wedding photography. I was doing the wedding photography for Leeanne and John. We were in the Bristol Room at New Place which is great for smaller wedding parties and has a huge attractive fireplace and paneled walls throughout. It also has some adjacent landscaped gardens and staircases – great for photos. We were assisted by the wedding coordinator called Eli Gray and she was very helpful to me throughout the day. The 1pm ceremony was complex to photograph at New Place as the room was full and the large bay windows are light facing – making for tricky conditions. There are also some very creaky floorboards in the vicinity I have to stand!!

After a few photos with the Classic Rolls Royce wedding car from Lawnswood Limousines: http://www.llcars.co.uk/ we all headed into the gardens for some family photos, with great bright light conditions for the time of year.

During the ceremony a fantastic Sinatra ‘Sound a Like’ called Paul Holgate provided some fantastic tunes and he played during meal and photo times too. His website is here: www.sosinatra.com 07702 526 692. I enjoyed his music and plan to list him on the links page of my website shortly too.
