Wedding photographer at the St John the Baptist church in Westbourne near Emsworth and at the Sailing Club on Thorney Island Army base.

Today I was at two different venues, including St John the Baptist church in Westbourne, Emsworth harbour and the Sailing Club on the Thorney Island Army base - all within a stones throw of where I live in Emsworth. I was doing the wedding photography for Jess and Alan and we had a great day. After the ceremony and a few family shots at church - we went onto Thorney Island for some shots of the couple by the water, before a reception at the Sailing Club on Thorney Island and adjacent to the Emsworth harbour.
Owing to a high work load during the summer, I will continue to put just a few concise details and of course some of my favourite and perhaps more ceative or unusual shots from each wedding alongside the text. I will be updating my blog over the next few days and will try and keep it up to date for the rest of the year. Typically, I just offer a taster of my favourites and they are invariably some B&W or toned images.
All the images were quickly available for viewing for Jess and Alan and their family an dfriends, but just a few favourites are shown here.

Wedding photographer at the Eastbury Hotel in Sherbourne in Dorset

Today I was at the Eastbury Hotel, Sherbourne in Dorset. I was doing the wedding photography for Clare and Tom. They were great fun to work with and clearly had an enjoyable time. After a short ceremony, we all headed outdoors, for an afternoon and evening of speeches, photos, a wedding breakfast for the kids, BBQ and celebrations into the night. I hadn’t attended the venue for a good number of years and it was great to be back at this fantastic venue. I have attached a few images to give you a flavor of the day and can’t wait until the next time I return to this fantastic (from a photography perspective) location for a wedding in Dorset.
I thoroughly enjoyed working at the Eastbury Hotel again and got on well with the staff who were all very helpful to me.

Wedding photographer at HighCliffe Castle in Christchurch and Careys Manor in The New Forest

Today was a wedding at HighCliffe Castle in Dorset with Susan and Grahame and HighCliffe is a fantastic location for wedding photography. After the ceremony and some family photos, a short drive from HighCliffe to the New Forest, the couple and their guests then took a shotrt journey to their hotel at Careys Manor in Brockenhurst. It was a fantastic day to photograph and I was working with the couple from around midday until first dance at around 8pm. It was a hot day at times.
I have uploaded just a few images here from their day and will be simply showcasing just a few images from each wedding for the rest of this busy summer, usually and rather than trying to tell the 'whole story'. I always enjoy working at HighCliffe Castle, with fabulous gardens and grounds for photos and very helpful and supportive staff. My trip over to Careys Hotel in Brockenhurst was also an enjoyable one and I was assisted by some fantastic staff at the hotel too.
I am currently offering some very good rates and discounts for any remaing 2017 dates and into the early New Year too, subject to my availability. Wedding Photographer at the Old Thorns Hotel, Golf and Country Club near Liphook in Hampshire

Today I was at the Old Thorns Manor Hotel, Golf and Country Club, near Liphook in Hampshire. I was doing the wedding photography for Chloe and Andy.
Chloe and Andy were great fun to work with and clearly had an enjoyable time. After a short ceremony, we all headed out of The Hampshire Suite, for an afternoon and evening of photos, a wedding breakfast and celebrations into the night. I hadn’t attended the venue for a year or so and it is being extensively extended / expanded again! We were in the 'Hampshire Suite' and not the ‘Grand Ballroom’ location on this occasion at this fantastic venue. The highlights for me included photos on the golf course near to a lake and some other fabulous locations, with stunning views over Hampshire. We were driven around in a large golf buggy by the wedding coordinator who was very helpful and knew all the best places to visit. I have attached a few of those images to give you a flavor of the day and can’t wait until the next time I return to this fantastic (from a photography perspective) location for a wedding in Hampshire.
I thoroughly enjoyed working at Old Thorns again and got on well with the wedding coordinator and colleagues who were all very helpful to me.

Wedding photographer at the Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island

Today I was doing the wedding photography for Hannah and Richard who married at The Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island, near Portsmouth in Hampshire. I have uploaded a few favourite images here from their day and will be showcasing just a few images from each wedding or other special event I photograph during 2017.

The website for the hotel is here: www.langstonehotel.co.uk I love working at this venue, with its close proximity to my base, great views over the Langstone harbour for photos and very helpful and supportive staff (Franco, Jade, Emily and the team). I enjoy working at this hotel and frequently attend for weddings and other special events. This was my second wedding at the hotel within a week, but a very different day in terms of light and weather (dry and windy and very sunny)!

A sunny and breezy day - Hannah and Richard and their families were great to work with and we got a lovely collection of photos from the day.
