Today I attended day 2 of the British Colleges Sport - National Championships today as part of a team of three pro photographers. We captured images over this three day event for PR photography usage and also for the students to browse and purchase from a password protected gallery. There was a large spread of sports and multiple photographers working across three sites to get as much coverage as possible of the events – with around 2,000 people competing in around 15 sports. I covered the cross country running and also some table tennis, fast and furious mens and ladies rugby action and some of the swimming and basketball.
Sadly, I am unable to display any of my images from the day as I had to accept that they would only be available to view to the competitors via a password protected gallery. I also had to produce my enhanced CRB certificate and professional liability insurance certificate as the event included a range of age groups and so I can only tell you and not show you about this great annual event which was in its 34th year!!
I enjoy covering some sports events and am scheduled to attend a varied range of events throughout 2012. Should you be interested in commissioning me to cover any events you might be holding, please feel free to get in touch and chat about the options which may be available to you.

Wedding Photographer at Portsmouth Register Offices
Today I was at Portsmouth Registrar Offices for a wedding. I still cover a number during the week and particularly local ones on Fridays.
After the ceremony and a couple of shots on the stair case - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Register Offices before the couple and their guests headed off to The Bear Hotel in Havant for a meal and an evening of celebrations.
The Portsmouth Register Offices is one of my favorite Register Offices to photograph, as the space and gardens are fantastic and the staff are always helpful to me too. You can see their website here: http://www.portsmouth.gov.uk/living/580.html/
I cover some local mid week weddings from affordable rates – so please feel free to contact me to check out my availability and options or SPECIAL OFFERS.

Wedding Photographer Martin Lewis at HighCliffe Castle Wedding Fair on 18 March 2012.
Hundreds are expected to attend the Spring Wedding Fair at HighCliffe Castle on Sunday 18th March. Wedding and reception bookings and inquiries are starting to flood in for 2013 and 14 now.
Having been prompted by their own press release, I can recommend HighCliffe if you’re thinking of that “fairytale” castle wedding. Why not pop along and look around Highcliffe Castle’s Autumn Wedding Fair on Sunday 18th March. Entry is just £1 per person and there is an array of exhibitors showcasing goods and services for all your wedding needs. Whilst I cannot be physically present, I was able to supply fliers like the one above to go into the Goodie Bags – So please look out for mine and please do get in touch if you’d like to check out my availability and / or any special offers I may be able to offer YOU.
Set in cliff top grounds with panoramic views over Christchurch Bay and the Isle of Wight, and just 4 miles east of Christchurch town centre, Highcliffe Castle is a perfect setting for your big day.
Having covered a good number of ceremonies and receptions at HighCliffe Castle over the years I can reassure you that I am familiar with a good number of local hotels, venues and local places for your photography (even a beach – see my willies photo above!!) too.
For full details on weddings at Highcliffe Castle please contact the team on 01425 278807 or visit http://www.highcliffecastle.co.uk/ Donna Darbishire is their Weddings & Functions Officer & she will be pleased to assist you.

Despite being an experienced and qualified wedding photographer, I am presently offering all new clients a 10% discount and other incentives to book their 2012 wedding photography with Martin Lewis Photographer for any remaining dates. Whilst 2013 and 2014 dates are filling fast, some availability for 2012 still exists, so please feel free to get in touch and check my availability and to inquire about any special offers I may be able to offer YOU. I cover some short duration and mid week weddings, so please do not be put off and assume that I only cover all day Saturday weddings, as this is not the case.
