Wedding photographer at Marwell Zoo.

Today I was at a Friday wedding at one of my favourite locations in Hampshire – Marwell Hall (Wildlife Park and Hall) in Colden Common near Winchester, for the first time this year. I was doing the wedding photography for Amy and Mike & they were fabulous to work with.
After some preliminary photos at arrival times (Zoo train!!)………….. The ceremony was fantastic to photograph at the Hall.
We were lucky to get great weather throughout the day for photos around the Zoo.
Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we completed some obligatory family and friend group photos, before the couple, myself and a member of staff headed off to visit the Black and white tailed Lemurs for some photos.
The website of the Wildlife Park is here: www.marwell.org.uk I was assisted throughout the day by Becky who was fab and can be contacted via email: events@marwell.org.uk tel: 01962 777 966 or 936 and is part of the Functions team. These details are to be found on the Weddings and Events section of their website.
The images will be available for viewing for Amy and Mike and their families very soon. There are a few images shown here. Hopefully a few that will give you an insight into my photography & the experience of a wedding at Marwell Zoo.

Wedding photographer at the Square Tower in Southsea, Old Portsmouth.

Today I was at The Square Tower in Southsea. I was doing the wedding photography for Bronwen and Iain and it was a good day, with some sun, but cool almost autumnal weather (in July!).

The most important person on this day was clearly Harvey - the ring bearer and family member Welch Collie. You can see him in two of the pics attached & he was a stunning and very happy ring bearer!

After an early afternoon ceremony and a few family shots outside - we posed for some photos at various locations around the Square Tower. The staff are fantastic at this venue - Steve and Julia are always helpful to me and like to put on a great event.

After some refreshments - the couple and their guests headed off to Bayside Cabin in Lee on the Solent where the late afternoon and evening reception was planned. After a few photos of the room details, cake cut and speeches I was back on the road to my home office again.

All the images were available for viewing for Bronwen and Iain and their families very quickly.

If YOU are getting married this Winter / next Spring - Please do get in touch and see what late availability, or special offers I might have available for YOU!

Wedding photographer at the Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island

Today I was doing the photography for Cherie and Chris who married at The Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island, near Portsmouth in Hampshire. I have uploaded a few favourite images here from their day and will be showcasing just a few images from each wedding or event I photograph during 2015.

The website for the hotel is here: www.langstonehotel.co.uk I love working at this venue, with its close proximity to my base, great views over the Langstone harbour for photos and very helpful and supportive staff (Franco, Emily and the team). I enjoy working at this hotel and frequently attend their wedding fayres and indeed met Chris and Cherie at one of these some good time ago.

The heavy rain made for indoor photos and wedding day, but this certainly didn't cause the FUN to be dampened at all. Chris and Cherie and their families were great to work with and we got a lovely collection of photos from the day.

I am currently offering some very good rates and discounts for any remaining 2015 dates and into the Spring of 2016, subject to my availability. Please do get in touch - I look forward to possibly working for YOU too.

Wedding photographer at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth and Explosion Museum in Gosport

Trisha and Jimis wedding was at HMS Warrior in Portsmouth and then back over to Explosion Museum in Gosport via a short boat ride. I was at HMS Warrior for about three hours, with a 2pm ceremony. We had a great day and HMS Warrior is my most booked or frequented venue nowadays! The wedding was on the Half Deck and we had bright and very blustery conditions.

The website of HMS Warrior is here: www.hmswarrior.org and I always enjoy working with the staff here and particularly Julie and Emma and Marcus who coordinate their events and weddings.

We then went over to the Explosion museum in Gosport where Siobhan and Ed are always helpful and supportive to me and the fantastic Kevin of locally based Bezani Catering was also in attendance (great food!).

I am having a busy 2015 and so continue to just list a few photos from each wedding I attend. I still have some availability going through this year and I am now offering discounts for remaining dates and ultra affordable mid week options. Please do get in touch if this interests you at all.

To give you an idea of my workflow - In the last fortnight I have also photographed graduation ceremonies in Bournemouth and Brunel Uni in London, done some family portraits for a local family and done some PR and commercial work for a range of local estate agents, a Charity bike ride event and some store opening photos for a leading high street chemist. Most of my non wedding work is midweek, whereas weddings tend to be on summer Saturdays or Fridays (but not always!). Please don't let my popularity put you off. You can contact me anytime via email or mobile and if I happen to be working and you get through to my mobile - I will always try and call you back as soon as I am free and able to again. There remains a fair bit of availability in my diary for 'late season' or the coming years too.
