Today I attended the Chichester 10K Run, hosted by the members of the Rotary Club of Chichester Priory. You can view the race website here: www.chichester10krace.org.uk/10k_Road_Race/Home.html/ They are a friendly and supportive crowd and the marshals and support crew do a fantastic job at this event which I have covered now for many years.
I was the official photographer for the event on 9th February 2014. Chichester 10K is a very successful annual 10K ‘road’ running race. The event website has a link to mine on the result page. There is always a large and competitive entry, making for challenging race photography!!
We were lucky as we had overcast and fairly bright light conditions, but NO FLOODING despite the weather of recent weeks. I managed to capture a good number of images on the course. I photographed the vast majority of individual runners as they ran towards home and through the city centre and near to the famous Chichester Festival Theatre and the finish.
The images were available for viewing and sale to the runners the same day. Should YOU be looking for a great local event photography service - or maybe some wedding or commercial photography - Please do get in touch.
As always these images are © Martin Lewis Photographer and are protected under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and may not be used for any purpose without written permission from myself.

Wedding photographer in Chidham and the George Bell House in Chichester
Today I was at a church in Chidham and then the George Bell House near the Cathedral in Chichester. I was doing the wedding photography for Derrell and Rhys and we had a lovely day. I love working at and in the vicinity of Chichester Cathedral! After the ceremony and a few family shots by the church - we all returned to the George Bell House and adjacent gardens for photos, then for an afternoon and evening of entertainment at the George Bell House. It was a morning ceremony and a very short day for me on this occasion.
Owing to a high work load during April I am just putting a few concise details and of course some of my favourite and perhaps more quirky or unusual shots from each wedding alongside the text. Once updated I will try and keep it up to date for the rest of the year!
All the images were quickly available for viewing for Derrell and Rhys and their families, but just a few favourites are shown here.
