Today I was at Portsmouth Registrar Offices. I was doing the wedding photography at the first of two weddings (for me!!) for Charlotte and David. Having taken some photos at the house, I headed off early to the Register Offices and was soon contacted by David who had arranged a surprise trip and arrival in a great Cadillac via one of his friends. The car made for some pretty unique photos as you can see.
The ceremony was good to photograph as the Portsmouth Register Offices has great light and an attractive staircase, gardens and ample space. The weather was bright and kind to us, albeit the early morning snowfall meant that even at 2.30pm we were the first onto the fresh snow for photos that afternoon.
We moved swiftly for photos into the gardens, after the ceremony performed by the Portsmouth Registrars: www.portsmouth.gov.uk/living/580.html We posed for some photos at various locations around the gardens before the couple and their 20 guests had a short break, before heading off to The Royal Marines Museum for the wedding breakfast and an evening of celebrations.
The website of the Royal Marines Museum is here: http://www.royalmarinesmuseum.co.uk/ All approx 100 guests had a seemingly fantastic evening and the superb catering was provided by Green Parrot: http://www.greenparrotcatering.co.uk/
The images will be available for viewing for Charlotte and David and their families very soon.
